An unfortunate theft has caused us to create a new category of news to the website.  CRIME ALERTS will be the place to check for any reports we receive of crime in the neighborhood.

Our first report is from Jack and Kristin Frisby who live at 1205 Brookhaven Dr.  The house is right at the corner of Brookhaven and Brookwood.  Here is the message the family sent me.

Early Friday morning 3-6-09 between 12:30 and 4:30 am; some low life stole my son’s 4 wheeler. I just wanted to let my neighbors know to be on the look out for it. They stole it right out of the garage. It is a small red 4 wheeler with bright colored stickers on it. My son got it as a Christmas present after we lost everything in a house fire 2 weeks before Christmas. Our neighbors need to be careful of their belongings as well.  Please pass the word along. call with any info 405-330-8384

We thought we were moving into a nice quiet neighborhood. On another note, if you could make a post to remind everybody to SLOW DOWN. Too many people drive 40+ mph down brookhaven. Thanks again for your help. Jack Frisby
