Crime Alert - Electronic Items in Autos
Several of the new block captains attending the Block Captain meeting brought news of thefts last week in the Brookside area. Thieves were targeting unlocked cars and looking for electronics like iPods, GPS units and laptops.
Considering that most cars have a garage door opener and can instantly give thieves access to your home., we all need to be sure to lock up.
Please, keep an eye out on your street. If something looks suspicious, do not enter a confrontation, call the police to investigate.
