By now all neighbors should have received an invoice in the mail asking for payment of the yearly dues. For 2011, the dues are $100.00 with an additional assessment of 25.00 to cover repairs of our rock wall entrance area.
This money is used in many ways but mostly for mowing and watering of our common area and keeping the entrances beautiful. The budget was posted in the last newsletter and there will be a post outlining our costs on the website soon.
The association dues are not mandatory. We realize that sometimes its easy to just let the dues go unpaid since it is voluntary, thinking that some one else will pick up the slack. But the truth is the money is desperately needed to keep our Neighborhood beautiful. All the hard work done by the association results in increased property values for everyone.
So please if you haven’t yet, consider sending in your dues payment. The 100.00 amount is the amount deemed by the association to be everyone’s fair share. You don’t have to pay all at once. You can send in smaller amounts. Or if you are feeling extremely blessed this year, you can even pay more than your fair share. No amount will be turned away and all of it will be put to good use.
