Just a few announcements of changes due to COVID19.
EVENTS:
Easter in the Park has been cancelled. It was scheduled for April 11 and is always popular with families in the neighborhood. This year it will be up to the Easter Bunny.
BROOKHAVEN PARK:
The park in the middle of Brookhaven is a city park. On March 25, 2020 the city council issued a Declaration of Emergency for COVID19. That closed all city parks and limited public access at city offices.
CITY OF EDMOND
On March 30, 2020 the Declaration of Emergency was amended to include ‘Shelter in Place’.
Other city changes include ceasing to manually pickup solid waste, including manual bulk pickup or pre-paid city-coded waste bags outside the trash cart. So far, the waste transfer station is still open on Covell for bulk drop off.
For details about the City of Edmond changes, go to their COVID19 page.

COVENANTS:
Our HOA covenants have not changed. For those who brought home a trailer, boat, RV or motorcycle before the ‘shelter in place’ order was issued, please return those things to storage as soon as possible after the order is lifted. Thank you.
NOT CANCELLED:
Here are a few things not cancelled:
- Checking on each other
- Kindness to neighbors
- Running an errand for someone who can’t get out
- Cheerful sidewalk chalk art! Share pics on our Facebook page.
Hang in there. We’re all in it together,
Allen.
