Thank you to the officers who came out and braved the drizzle on Sunday afternoon to help clear tree limbs from the sidewalks and fences. Specifically, Denise, Scott and Greg.

Also, thank You to whoever stopped and cleared limbs from the street along Covell.

Also a warning to be careful who you hire, because after every storm there’s a swarm of people with chainsaws claiming to be ‘tree services’.  Make sure they have insurance in case they drop the tree on your house.  Hiring a certified arborist can help you with the health of your trees. 

The City arborists warns against topping-out trees which can result in a weak tree structure as well as an ugly tree.
